Skill training:

  • In our country there are no skill person who can train disabled persons so SCSD had organized the course which is designed to teach coaches to plan, prepare, organize and help them develop a better understanding the tactics and the mental requirement to conduct basic practical coaching sessions and practices especially targeting young children with disabilities.
  • IFCPF, hosted by ARDRID (Association for Research Development and Rights Implementation for Disabilities), and supported by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), have delivered a workshop with participants from Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. More than 35 very enthusiastic coaches, referees and former national players spent three days developing their knowledge and skills to develop CP Football.
  • The first format of football for people with a disability to be introduced and developed in Bangladesh; the introduction of CP Football aims to change the lives of people with a disability for the better and establish regular and local opportunities to play the game.

Language is the only medium through which a human can express their feelings thoughts, emotions etc.  But in case of deaf people sign language is principal means of communication. Realizing the matter, SCSD works for deaf community to remove communication barriers and enhance their skills to enable them to speak out so that they can develop themselves & involve in employment through English sign language learning course.

English is an important medium of communication for us all – to express ourselves, to teach and learn and also to understand and execute instructions when we enter the employment workforce. Our program is designed to work with deaf children and enable them to acquire good English language skills which will be useful in their education and employment in future. Our program is highly visual and uses sign language along with deaf centric teaching methods. Different facets of our program are given below: – Student Level –– Trainer Level –Institution Level.

Physical fitness program of cricket and football players with disabilities:

  • On Regular exercise and physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory, cardiovascular health, and overall health. That’s why, SCSD arrange physical fitness activity for the child and youth with disabilities on regular basis.
